About us...
A Bit of Background
The Blizzard of Giving idea began in 1990s with local Girl Scouts collecting toys for distribution through the "Rehoboth Helping Hands Project". In 2001, the Blizzard grew into requested items and "snowflake" tags were also posted around town with toy collection boxes managed by local Girl Scouts.
In 2020, The "Rehoboth Blizzard of Giving, Inc." became a
501-(c)(3) public charity.
Our mission is to serve the community by providing
Christmas gifts, holiday support,
Birthday and special occasion needs
to Rehoboth Residents who are facing
challenging times in their lives.
Our goal is to help make the life of those in need in Rehoboth
a little brighter.

How we can assist your family in times of need...
Our mission is to serve Rehoboth, MA. residents by providing Christmas gifts, holiday support, and special occasion needs to our Rehoboth children and their families who are facing challenging times in their lives.
Birthday Gifts:
If you need assistance helping your child celebrate a birthday we would love to help! Let us make your child's birthday, a special day! Please reach out using this form. Please send requests at least 3 weeks before your celebration.
Holiday Gifts:
In October we will begin taking request for all holiday gifts. Please complete this form which MUST be received by November 8th - of course earlier than November 8th would be wonderful! We cannot accept mailed lists that are not on the forms found on our website. We hope to help make your holiday season brighter!

How you can be of help!
The Rehoboth Blizzard of Giving, is incredibly grateful for the generosity of the community in 2023! It truly was a "Blizzard of Giving"!
As always, we welcome your participation and support of our mission. At this time, the best way to provide support is by providing gift cards, and tax deductible monetary donations. Checks should be made out to "Rehoboth Blizzard of Giving, Inc." and mailed to Rehoboth Blizzard of Giving, Attn: Cathy Edington, 61 Reservoir Ave., Rehoboth, MA 02769.
In late November we will be placing gift request “snowflake” boards around town and have collection boxes for donations.
Snowflake boards and collection boxes will be located at Anawan Cleansers, Chartley Store, Rehoboth Post Office and Blanding Library.
Additional collection boxes will be located at J&J Materials, Vino's Restaurant, ReMax, and RDL Equipment Sales.
